Olivia (Ruoyu) Qiu is an interaction designer and media artist studying at ITP. Originally from Nanjing, China, and now based in New York, she blends her bicultural experiences to inform her interdisciplinary practice. Her work centers on narrative-driven design, exploring themes of huamnity center and diasporic identity, with a focus on creating thoughtful, socially conscious art that challenges established norms.
